Whether you’re planning a Christmas Party, Bridal Shower, Baby Shower, Birthday Party or Special Event, The Jarvis at 220 is a great location to host your event.
We have 3 spaces available for event:
Main House
The Main House features beautiful craftsmanship all from the original design of Herbert Simpson, a grand foyer with a baby grand piano, detailed woodwork, a grand staircase, and fireplace; the 3 formal sitting rooms feature 2 fireplaces, crystal chandeliers, and beautiful furnishings with a high-end yet comfortable feel. We have a large formal dining room with open space, floor to ceiling windows, a crystal chandelier, and fireplace making it a great location for a small sit down lunch or dinner. Our main level can provide a sit down dinner from 16-25 people. We also have a garden room, chef’s kitchen for catering prep use, and 2 powder rooms. The Main House would be comfortable for a cocktail party of up to 80 people. Lastly, we have the charleston-style front porch or the relaxing back porch with a firepit.
The Gleason Cottage
The Gleason Cottage is a romantic and intimate space decorated with a chic and luxurious feel. The newly decorated cottage includes a full kitchen perfect for preparing your favorite meal, a cozy living room with oversize chairs, and an electric fireplace that adds warmth and ambiance to this inviting space. The master bedroom in monochromatic style exudes romantic evenings and relaxation. An oversized shower and double vanity sinks are what you’ll find in the gorgeous wallpapered bathroom that complements the bedroom. Finally, there’s a washer and dryer located in the spacious closet if you plan to stay for an extended period of time.
The Cellar Door
The Cellar Door Where everybody knows your name! Our speakeasy-style pub located in the basement level of the house has an exterior entrance from the driveway where your guests can enter and exit with ease. Dim lighting embellishes the prohibition vibe. There’s a large wooden bar and plenty of seating for your guests while a bartender prepares drinks and signature cocktails. The sitting room has a fireplace and oversized sofa for catching the game or watching a movie with friends. Take in a game of pool or foosball with your buddies while you graze the delicious food from your preferred caterer. This space comfortably holds up to 49 people for any cocktail style event. This is a great “after party” hangout or “getting ready” time before the big day. Host a casual party for friends, corporate events, a smaller, intimate reception, or cocktail hour before your reception begins.
